"A man who traded images of child pornography and sexual abuse on the Internet was sentenced Tuesday to five years in prison after pleading for mercy, saying his effeminate appearance would make him vulnerable to abuse behind bars. "Oh the irony here....

A high powered laser applied liberaly to sensitive areas of the body would be a "light sentence" I could live with.

Considering the fact that it's an AP writer, I'd want verification before believing that the court used the "effiminate" line as the sole justification for the light sentence. Does the judge have a history of similarly groundless decisions?

I can't believe the judge dropped the sentence for this scum. Mandatory sentence is just that, him being a sissy shouldn't give him a free pass.
If a 6'4 biker with tattoos did the exact same crime he would get a different sentence? I say BS on this, he does the crime he does the time you stupid soft judge.

Every state needs to adopt the same laws as Arizona, a mandatory minimum of 10 years per picture!

No more chics as judges!! Well, she's in her 80s, so she does pretty well to stay chic. You'd rather she be frumpy?
