The main reason why so many Jews vote Democrat against their best interests is the same reason why so many Irish and Italians do - a misplaced loyalty to the party of their immigrant grandparents.

They may not be what caused the democrat voting to begin with, you're correct.

They can be, however, a deal breaker on getting the folks to change their votes.
