Define "moderate" or "centrist." If you define it as Rudy, that means you are defining it as a liberal on social issues, a liberal on global warming, and a liberal on a number of other issues. Liberal is liberal even if you call it moderate.
There is not a uniform definition of 'moderate'. But Rudy is a moderate conservative, or as I like to call it, a Barry Goldwater conservative. Socially moderate, fiscally conservative and a hawk when it comes to defense.
