Hunter is better than I thought he would be at debate. I am encouraged!

He was diagnosed with cancer, if I recall . . .

As for endorsing Cuomo, at this point, who cares? A lot's happened since 1994.

Bottom line - he can win New Jersey, MAYBE New York. If Romney is his running mate, then you might, MIGHT get Massachusetts.

Rudy could get PA too.

If we're lucky, Obama will win the primary (depends on what the loony left ends up doing to Hillary on account of her war vote.)

At that point, the debate becomes a battle of wits, with Obama being essentially without a weapon.

Rudy will come out okay as long as he doesn't smile.

McCain looks like the right side of his face is melting.

What's your point?

I still think it has some good substance.

We Shouldn't Redefine Conservatism

In addition to all that, it's so soon here that there's plenty of time for some shaking out to occur, and it's just way too soon to get behind anybody. I don't know how else to say it other than that. I'll think of different ways to illustrate the point as we go on here, but as I've said, there's so much out there that's going to happen that we can't predict. You have potential dark horses that are going to come out of nowhere like Jimmy Carter did for the Democrats in 1976. Who knows? You could have Duncan Hunter come out of nowhere. Newt Gingrich can pop out of nowhere and start dazzling people left and right as a full-fledged candidate. Who knows? It's still so, so early. In this presidential race, the earliness is going to end up being a detriment to this whole thing because people are going to be fed up with the presidential race before it actually ever gets started -- and I am going to try to see to it that at least you people on this show are not fed up with it, because we're not going to get on board and start it now as though it's the most important thing we face, because it isn't.

Sorry, we're not merely interested in winning; we're interested in governing.

As for endorsing Cuomo, at this point, who cares? A lot's happened since 1994.

BS. That's part for the course for the RINO wing of the party. They insist full party loyalty from the conservative base but when the chips are down, you can count on them to support Democrats.

Bottom line - he can win New Jersey, MAYBE New York.

He as absolutely 0 (that's zero) chance in New Jersey. The liberal GOP here in this state has been promising that their "moderate messiahs" will win here for the past six years and they can't even get out of the low 40% range. Rudy will get crushed here as well because the conservative activists won't work for him.

As for NY, he's already polling behind there. And as we know, the polls are everything. /s

If Romney is his running mate, then you might, MIGHT get Massachusetts.

A Rudy/Romney ticket wouldn't carry a single southern state.

Rudy could get PA too.

Sure. And the moon could turn purple and fall out of the sky. As if all the NRA members and pro-lifers that make up the PA base of the GOP will come out for Rudy. He'll lose PA by 20%.

Duncan Hunter sounds like a smart and effective leader. Too bad no one has heard of him since the MSM is so focused on promoting Democrats that there is hardly any coverage of Republican candidates. This is going to be a very tough election to win.

He did a good job. But he doesn't come across as a president. He comes across as an unknown congressman debating another unknown congressman on a tv show 299,500,000 out of 300,000,000 Americans don't watch.

That's the way they all start out.
