The Islamic religion has a long history of myth making. The claim they are the fastest growing religion in the world is pure myth. We have collected the latest statistics from David A. Barrett’s huge two volume, "World Christian Encyclopedia", the 2001 AD edition. In case you haven’t heard of this work, it is the world standard for religious statistics.

Muslim's claim that their growth rate is 235 percent and 47 percent for Christianity. This statistic came from the Readers Digest Almanac and Yearbook 1983, and represents 235 percent increase over 50 years. Muslims always leave off the 50 year fact to make it appear they are going 235% every year. A simple review of the readers Digest study shows that the growth rate of Islam vs. Christianity is directly linked to the birth rate in Third World countries where Islam dominates and not actual conversions to each religion. Christianity has always been larger than Islam. These statistics from Readers Digest are over 20 years old. Further, we do not consider readers digest to be an authority on such matters. Why will Muslims not quote real authoritative statistics from certified research groups who show Islam is not the fastest growing religion in 3/4’s of the worlds countries.

There may be some fakery in some of these Islamic's claims that they are the fastest growing religion etc stories. Some of these articles warning us of the take over of the world etc are noticebly lacking in statistics. Here is some one who has statistcs but they are telling us a different story. I cannot vouch for these people but they do seem to be able to back themseleves up.

They also taunt Islam as "Meteorite Worship of the black stone."

article also doesn't seem to point out that islam considers itself to be a heritage. if you're born muslim, you're always muslim, even if you convert to christianity.

The WoT has opened the floodgates of Muslims leaving their religion. Saudi Arabia actively tracks these numbers, and their estimate is that 6,000,000 Muslims a year are converting to Christianity (almost entirely (conservative African) Anglicanism and Evangelism.)

If this number is correct, it is about half their growth through birthrate. However, even that 6M figure is just those who converted to Christianity. It does not include those who just "drop out", or convert to other religions.

Nor does it include the increasingly secular Muslims who are just nominally Muslim because they live in a Muslim country, but do not abide by its tenets.

This also explains why the desperate push in Muslim nations to make Sharia Law the national law. Only by forcing people to at least *pretend* to be Muslims, to bully them, do they maintain the illusion of power.

Otherwise, inevitably, the people will learn that the emperor has no clothes.
