This is another "Harriet Meiers Moment" for Bush.
I agree. I don't know if you guys listened to Rush yesterday but he said flat out that Bush is NOT a conservative. Yes, on certain issues but he doesn't come close to a Reaganite agenda. And one reason his poll numbers are so dismal is conservatives have given up on him.
It's not just Iraq - he's abdicated any attempt to control the border and stop the foreign illegal invasion (which in this age of international terrorism is also a national security issue) and spent like a drunk sailor the first six years, including the biggest entitlement since LBJ. I won't go on. But I must close with an apology to drunken sailors. They spend THEIR OWN money.
It's Agreed Framework, version 2.0.
We even caved on the bilateral negotiations issue: The DPRK and the US will start bilateral talks aimed at resolving pending bilateral issues and moving toward full diplomatic relations.
I guess there might be some 'strategerie' in this odd turn: With N. Korea off the plate, we can go full bore against Iran without having to keep looking over our shoulder.
HA! HA! I knew you listened to Rush when I saw "strategerie"! I don't know - many generals say we're too bogged down in Iraq to take on Iran. Regards,
