From what I can tell, it's more of a visceral hate. I mean, they go completely foaming-at-the-mouth bonkers, when she comes up. She's been demonized worse than GWB and Cheney, and that's saying something.

I agree. There is something about 'in your face' truth, the left cannot handle, it grates their very core. It needs to be watered down, sugar coated for it to be somewhat palpable to them. When one is filled with lies, one chokes on truth.
