If you're looking for someone who can represent the conservative wing of the Republican Party in 2008, California Congressman Duncan Hunter fills that bill far better that any of the top contenders who have already gotten into the race. Here's a short, but sweet primer that may help explain why that's the case.

When Duncan Hunter runs a state, or a major American city, I will certainly give him a look. Yeah, running a state sure made Jimmy Carter a good president!

It only takes five minutes of reviewing McCain and Rudy politics to realize how bad we need Duncan Hunter in the white house. Grass roots only works if you work.

I'll get behind an Ermy candidacy! :)
Tancredo and Hunter, so far, are the only ones I'm looking at so far. Becoming very disillusioned with the Republican party -- in too many ways they are looking like the Dems....

Duncan Hunter has ZERO chance of winning in the race for President. He's an excellent congressman, but like Tom Tancredo will never make it to the highest office in the land. All the wishful thinking in the world won't make it happen either.

"If it weren't for FR, you'd be watching Dan Rather tell us that Hunter wasn't electable and that Rudy is a conservative culture warrior."
The MSM knows that they win either way if it's Rudy v. Hillary. Either way, they get open borders, abortion-on-demand, and the disarming of law-abiding Americans.

Couldn't agree more. Can't stand either of those RINOs.
I will stay home before I vote for a pro-abortionist, anti-2nd-Amendment, open-borders RINO such as Rudy.

We'll see what happens in the primary. If Duncan Hunter wins then I'll vote for him in the general election.
In the primary I'll be supporting Romney, Newt or Rudy.
