Yeah, it took many paragraphs before this crook's party was inferred. He's a Democrat.
A really, really crooked Democrat - - a real scumbag.
But that's the Democrats' "culture of corruption" for you....

You should click the link and read the whole story. The Democrat corruption is staggering.
Decker is among five Black allies who have either pleaded guilty, agreed to be sentenced or were convicted of conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and lobbying law violations in the past seven months. Others included Meredith Norris, Black's former political director, and former state lottery commissioner Kevin Geddings, a Black appointee.

Sounds like the old Sharpstown Scandal days in Texas in the '70s, when several Texas Dems wound up in the pokey, chief among them Ben Barnes (who later re-surfaced in the Dan Rather faked documents debacle)and Gus Mutscher. Many more should have been locked up, so I hope NC does a more thorough job when they have the chance.

I hope he gets the 10 years too.
I also want that worthless William Jefferson to be frog marched to prison. ( dingy harry Reid would be too much to ask for..lol)

One source said the former speaker's plea is unrelated to controversies surrounding the video poker industry, the creation of the N.C. lottery, the appointment of then-lottery commissioner Kevin Geddings, illegal lobbying or former Republican Rep. Michael Decker's admission last summer that he accepted a bribe. So just which scandal is this charge related to? The optometrists?
