FNC "will present the first of two episodes of The 1/2 Hour News Hour on Sunday, February 18th from 10-10:30PM/ET with an encore presentation on Sunday, February 25th from 10-10:30PM/ET."

Let's just call it Fox News and Entertainment Channel then.

Just because a show uses humor to make a point doesn't make it inaccurate or ineffective. In fact, in some contexts, poking a little fun at the stuffed shirts in Washington is the more accurate and useful way to discuss them.

Ever watch the Fox & Friends morning show? They are much more relaxed and lighthearted... but they do hard news when they need to. Nothing really so wrong with that. We don't do *enough* laughing at the silly crap that goes on around us.

I like that Surnow is going after the "Daily Show" audience. What's *really* scary is that for the under-35 demographic some horrifying number like half of them get ALL of their news from the Daily Show. Now THAT is scary.

You can change the name if you want...that might be Normal4u...it's 30 min. per month for a 2-month period. FNC shows news, but they also have repeats...why should they complain, they're way out in front among cable news channels.

You are right. I can stand to watch it however the entire 24 hour news gimmick has become a joke on all three of the channels. Love your cartoons in the morning btw! :-)

Lord have mercy, have you seen that awful late night show called 'Red Eye'on FNC yet? At first I thought it was a joke. I haven't figured out if the host is gay, he made a reference about hitting on Joel Mowbry, and he bounces from subject to subject like he's on speed. The rest just talk in circles and they are quite obnoxious while trying to be funny. Yuk!

I hope it's funny. There's so much funny stuff they could do, but being a "serious" network, they may be afraid of being too non-PC.

I graduated from Holly Springs myself but it was BEFORE Shep.

Marshall Academy, class of 1985. Shep graduated in 1982. While it was a small school, around 400 (K-12), I didn't know the guy. I do know he was in the choir and honors stuff.

He gave the graduation speech a couple of years back and was accompanied by an armed guard, I guess to keep the rednecks away.

Just heard him. I've seen some bad reviews. I don't see movies based on reviews & won't do it now. I know that with the subject matter, I have to like at least some of it!!
