I'm not one for single issue litmus tests but "partial birth abortion" is a clear example of where there is no slack. No one that supports this procedure will win the RNC nomination. So this is a case where's Rudy's tin ear and not caring what others think will cost him dearly.
I started my own list but I asked that someone else keep it up. Doing the Rudy Ping List 1/3 of the day is keeping me busy.
But someone whould keep a list and links of the endorsements.
You perhaps?
Who is trying to silence the debate? We are trying hard to inform the Rudy fans just how left wing he is and to not support him. The Rudy fans are trying to buck up his support. Isn't it the way its supposed to work?
Hopefully, Drier keeps his nose clean. I don't give a rip if he's gay, but if he pulls a Foley, then he will be eternally loathed and hated.
Yeah, I can keep a list on my profile page. But I'm going to need a lot of help backtracking.
How far back do you think I should go?
There should be one from the campaign any time as his endorsements are also outside of Congress like T. Boone Pickens and Tom Ricks, Owner of the Texas Rangers.
I would back at least as far as the first part of January.
Isn't an open secret that Dreier is gay--hence his support for Giuilian and his pseudo-conservatism.
Dreier voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment and the Flag Desecration Act.
Euan Blair, the son of Prime Minister Tony Blair, interned in his office.
Not exactly the kind of company, a conservative keeps.
Okay, I'll work on it later tonight.
I guess your defintion of "debate" differs from mine.
I see 24/7 slashing, bashing and posting of SPAM.
I am a neutral party at this juncture, but I've seen it all before in '99/00 when GWB was deemed unsuitable for the nomination and Keyes, Buchanan, Forbes and Bauer were the saviors.

I went back this far. But there are several people the list left out ... naturally.
Former Governor Jim Gilmore (0)
*snicker*
That makes 2 Stags for Rudy (as in the mighty Claremont McKenna College Stags).
"I am at a loss to explain why conservatives wish to silence all other voices.
I have repeatedly stated that we should celebrate a full field of candidates, let the debates commence and the voters decide.
If Mayor Rudy is the devil incarnate, then he will get scant few votes...lol."
Rationality will get you nowhere. ;]
Given what Rudy stands for, this forum is being transformed from FreeRepublic to FreeAbortions.
People need to knock off the spam a little. But that does not mean that the points raised should be ignored by the "fans" of a particular candidate.
Politics is a full contact sport. this is a political website. Ferreting out who is best in a field is a large part of what makes FR interesting.
The bottom line as you know is this, JimRob created this as a CONSERVATIVE website, that promotes conservative social as well as fiscal policy. If people are going to be posting and boosting and rooting for a social liberal, then they HAVE to expect a very strong response from others.
Perhaps you missed Rudy talking about partial birth abortion on Hannity and Colmes. People change but Rudy is not allowed to change according to all of you and must stick with something said in 2000 or 1987.
You are supposed to be changing hearts and minds on abortion but the way you all treat people no one would change their mind because they are automatically condemned for something they said years ago.
LOL -- silly me, huh?
My favorites are the posters who speak for untold millions of others...lol.
Some leftout:
Ted Olson
Susan Molinari
Bill Simon
I just worry that the Rats may already have the goods on him and will only pull that rabbit out of the hat when its a close election and they need a seat or two.
