If you live in northern VA and want a short cut to Olney See Post 39 Here. It's an easy 20 minute drive from the American Legion Bridge.

A special Thanks to a FReeper FRiend for enhancing the original plain type directions.

The Archive of Olney FReeps is here or in the LINKS section of Trooprally's ABOUT Page.

Good reading for a snowy evening. IMHO that is. You are on the Olney ping list. If you want off or on this list, please FReepmail us.

snow is not a problem, it is the ice that is forecast. I hope to be doing a lot of work in the near future. Unfortunately removing storm damaged trees does not bring in long term clients.

A few inches of snow and I swear everyone goes goofy.

Schools closed, etc.

Supermarkets, you know the routine.

All 13 (wowee) flights out of HIA are on hold.

Me, I have 3 cases of beer, ribs in the crock pot and wood in the fireplace. Life is good. Hope to see you soon.

Great freeping and funning through photos!

When I used to live in Amarillo, TX; it snowed once in a while. When it did, I would head for the nearest empty parking lot and pull doughnuts and swervies for about half an hour.

Not only was it fun but I was then ready for any slides that might occur while driving.

Sounds like a good time. I'll be right over! (Wish I could!)

We got a lot more salutes this week, not just waves, but sadly, I also saw a lot more "thumbs down" from cars that passed us. I think the salutes outnumbered them 4-3. We still get a lot of honking, waving, thumbs up, and either flashing lights or a short siren from law enforcement vehicles.

All morale builders!

But, the honks we got compared to the moonbats was far more rewarding. I think I heard 3 honks!!

When I was younger and had a Studebaker Commander, I did they same. Boy, that car was built like a tank.

Has it warmed up yet in your part of the woods?

Has it warmed up yet in your part of the woods cactus fields?

No, it's been very cold, for us that is. We had a snowstorm a month ago that was big time. I built a snowman on top of my car with twig arms outstretched and it stayed on there. At a gated community I went to that day the guards all rushed over and jokingly asked if I had ID for the snowman.

Looks like you guys are going great for the "Gathering Of Eagles." I'm sending a suggestion by FReepmail.

Snowman - you need to change your name.

Yea, Gather of Eagles is coming along well. I hope we can keep the connections after March 17. The D.C. Chapter is being over whelmed with the moonbats and there is more to come. We really need help. Also, when we have a Support the Troop Rally like last September, we can have more than 100 FReepers/Lurkers/Protest Warriors there.

I keep mentioning about the WWII and Korean War Memorials also in close proximity to ANSWER. If ANSWER can't vandalize the Wall, they may go to the other two Memorials. There has been some response about at least having some 'Eagles' at the other two.
