I think you were just referencing Wilkes here and not Hunter. That's exactly what I was referencing. I've been going to read it but haven't as yet. As a matter of fact I am a supporter of Duncan Hunter.

I don't think he was going after Hunter with that post - it also mentions Wilkes. And Hunter did get a good amount of campaign contributions from Wilkes, so it is something he will need to address at some point.

The claim has been debunked. Drop it.

Double posts, does that mean they received them twice?...;)
Seriously, I have been hearing this on certain posts, so I am trying to get an answer, but no one seems to respond to the question.

Hunter received, I belive, about $40,000 in contributions from Wilkes. Bush received about $30,000 and the RNC got over $100,000 (I'm recalling those numbers from memory, they should be accurate within 5 grand or so).
There has been no credible allegation that Hunter fell for bribery the way Duke Cunningham did.

You folks tried the innuendo thread yesterday and it came back in your face because there is no there, there.
You say Hunter doesn't have a chance so why take time with smears.
Trying to take the spotlight off of issues and problems your guy has. Talk about someone who doesn't have a chance.

Excuse me, but I have never said Hunter doesnt have a chance, although now that you mention it he doesnt stand a great one with Romeny, Guiliani and McCain out there.
I believe I have a right to seek information and ask questions without you criticizing me because you personally don't like the question.

There was a thread on this yesterday and the innuendo folks I thought got the message they were wrong and out of line. Then this thread starts up with the same innuendos.
Just trying to keep people honest.
As far as McCain, Rudy & Mitt. I am not concerned as neither of them will be nominated.

Just trying to keep people honest. Worry about your own credibility not mine, you made an accusation that was untrue and directed it at me which makes you the one that is out of line. Your honesty is now questionable.

What is it with San Diego and bribery prone officials? "Duke", "Dusty"? Did these little boys ever grow up and lose their childhood nicknames?
To: DKNY; SoCalPol
Well, there are Hunters, and there are gatherers.
