While the White House is taking a hands-off approach to the 2008 GOP presidential primaries so far, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani is quietly seeing an administration cheerleading section grow.
One insider said that it is built on the fact that Giuliani continues to beat Sen. John McCain in the polls and also because he is offering to stick with several Bush programs, including an aggressive stance against terrorists, and promises to name conservative judges to the court. One Bush official today noted Giuliani's pledge to nominate conservative judges and applauded the New Yorker for making that claim in liberal California.
"He didn't back away just because he was in California. In fact, he went there to make that statement. That's a very important signal," said the insider. Interestingly, even White House conservatives are showing support for Giuliani.
"He's the front-runner, and he's doing everything so far very good," said another official. "He isn't bending to what people want to hear. He kind of sounds like Bush did in 2000."

I find this attitude amazing. We are being told to hold our noses and vote a liberal into office (because the alternative is unthinkable... as it has been for many elections...) two years before the election! If we don't, we're Democrat sympathizers.
How about we reverse this to the reality: The GOP party leadership pays lip-service to conservatism while marching us off the collectivist cliff. They give conservatives lousy candidates and demand our support because the alternative is even worse. Novel concept: Listen to the party base and put out candidates that we can actually vote FOR!

LOL There are a few of them spamming with that misleading chart.
Got anything that shows how Gulliani cleaned up NYC of crime? No? Didn't think so
And thank you once again for proving beyond all doubt that you are indeed a troll, here to start flame wars.
If someday you can provide some substantive input other than insults check back with the adults, until than go back to the DUmpster for more training.
Besides him brazenly defying federal law and providing sanctuary for nearly half a million criminals (illegal aliens) and him appointing a mobbed-up high school dropout to be the commissioner of the NYPD I'm not sure how much is all that relevant. I guess the few hundred squeegee men he got off the streets negates these egregious "law and order" deficiencies.
That's MY chart and it is accurate. If you don't like what it reveals about your candidate, then you may want to pick another candidate.
Your 'chart' paints too broad a brush. For example, from what i know about Duncan Hunter you could add him in the abortion category as supporting it too....since he supports it when the life of the mother is in jeopardy.
Your homosexual activism would be more appreciated over at DU.
Knock it off.
