I don't live in NY but from what I've learned from visiting relatives and watching politics from a distance, Rudy cannot beat Shrillary in that state. Assuming I am right the odds of him beating her in the national election are very long - perhaps unprecedented. It makes me unsettled to have so much riding on how well Rudy will do with people in NY that have never credited him for any of his accomplishments.

That's a good point, though an even more important point is that there are several tens of millions of pro-family, pro-life, pro-gun conservatives who will NEVER cast a ballot for him. Ever.

You are basing your opinion on a fallacy. Many New Yorkers ( and the state is larger than N.Y.C. and/or your relatives !) can't stand Hillary. He WILL give her a race for N.Y.'s electoral college votes.
