Could he have gotten conservative judges appointed in that city?
Breaking the law to protect hundreds of thousands of illegal foreign invaders?
Who broke the law first? Giuliani's fault that the borders are wide open?
Grabbing guns?
Gang-bangers and convicted felons have 2nd Amendment rights? Who knew?
How you ever going to know when you elect a leftist like Giuliani?
Who broke the law first? Giuliani's fault that the borders are wide open?
Giuliani thumbed his nose publicly at the law and at the Congress. Face facts, squish.
Gang-bangers and convicted felons have 2nd Amendment rights? Who knew?
Giuliani and his gungrabbing ilk don't take guns from criminals, Squish. They're criminals. Capiche? They take guns from lawabiding citizens and trash the Bill of Rights. Wake up.
I don't particularly understand this argument from the anti-Rudy camp. If anyone knows how things actually work in NYC, the judicial candidates were (unfortunately) cross-endorsed by all major political parties. They are elected officials in the lower court system. I don't even think the mayor makes many, if any appointments to the bench.
The governor does most of the appointing to the Supreme Court (lower state court) in case of vacancy. If Rudy had powers to appoint city court judges (e.g. small claims an misdemeanors) and appointed a judge, using logic, Rudy also "appointed" all Republican judges too given that they were all cross-endorsed.
