Why? He stopped people from peeing in the streets? I think there are many Freepers that out quailify him for that post.
You'd be great at stopping people from peeing in the streets.
Sessions is the congressional rep in my district. I'm wondering if his support for a socially liberal Republican has anything to do with how the voters in his district threw out all the Republican judges in favor of dimwad judges.
"Rudibot"? LOL!
No, I am "at" objective poster, the antithesis of anything bot -- you are not.
Thanks for the pings (:
I'm trying of playing on this thread
I think I'll go over and annoy the
douches and the dose thread. :>)
I think the intelligence level on here is dropping! Tells me that we are getting some folks from DU with the language.
trying = tired
Please explain why.
Furthermore, your comment posited some nonsense about doing vs. talking...and you're claiming *my* comment was a non-sequiter...?
:sigh: do I really need to spell this out?
Let's say I'm a Senator from Pennsylvania who would like to get something done, such as, let's say, votes for a Supreme Court nominee.
Now, let's say that another Senator from Pennsylvania, who's moderate, has a primary challenge from a more conservative challenger.
Now, I have a choice:
A. Support my 'principle' of supporting the guy most like me. Although he'll be, at best, a 50/50 shot, and at worst, could cause the collapse of the Pennsylvania ticket. In this case, I'll feel good, because I supported the 'pure' candidate, but my principles of wanting a more conservative Supreme Court, will likely suffer.
B. Support my 'principle' of actually wanting a more conservative court, by supporting the guy I know will win, and will all but certainly vote for a conservative nominee, while I am 100% sure that the D won't support him.
One is supporting principled talk. The other is supporting principled action.
Wow, great list.
No thanks.
Gee, you're not called PhiKap for nothing ;-)
I don't think Ann is flattering. Does she compliment ANYBODY?
I don't know that much about her at all. I remember the name and don't watch the cable news shows because I find them irritating.
She wasn't my Congresswoman but I recall she was in Congress in the '90's, and that she was a keynote speaker at the GOP Convention in 1996. That's the extent of what I know of her.
By the way, which Musketeerr are you???...LOL.
I heard on Rodger Hedgecock, filling in for Rush, that Duncan Hunter's son was over there twice. Roger Hedgecock is very admiring of Duncan Hunter. heck there is nothing to be UNADMIRING of him....
What is a "physical deferment?"
Anyway, its no argument. Clinton never served and was president. I actually don't think he was too awful, his sexual piccadiloes notwithstanding. And President BUSH never served in Vietnam.
Maybe we should look for a Gulf War Veteran.
And this a problem for whom? Sounds smart to me.
Like other high-priced speakers in the private sector, Giuliani routinely travels in style.
Private sector.. key word. He can travel in any style he wishes to, are you picking up the tab???
LOL!! I will have to go check them out!
Maybe we should look for a Gulf War Veteran.
This seems to be a big issue with the Rudy Bashers. The other night I posted a list of prominent Republicans and Conservatives who never served in the military. I will see if I can find it...
