Which would make them incredibly stupid. The last place I'd look for ideas is in politics. Politicians have become the present generation's used car salesmen.

Yes, should I support a liberal Republican because he was "tough on crime", except for his criminal friends like Bernie Kerick and Ray Harding? Oh, I forgot, "we've got to stop Hillary!"

If current trends continue, I may vote third party for the first time since 1996.

It's not his blog (and it's not a blog either)and in our pieces we disagree with each other at times. Keyes is not editor-in-chief and doesn't oversee day-to-day operations.

Our enemies must be delighted that the liberal media in this country has made it almost impossible to fight terrorism in Iraq, impossible to apprehend terrorists in the US with liberal use of wiretapping, racial profiling, interrogation techniques that work, etc. Our foreign economic competitors must be delighted to read the N.Y. Times articles on how our industries must install expensive air pollution equipment which reduces efficiency and increases the cost of production and consequently the price to consumers. It's curious to me how such an advantageous situation could occur without intelligent design.
