Yes... Rush was talking about this very thing today. He called it situational politics, but I call it the politics of expediency. Neither of which should EVER be practiced by genuine conservatives. Liberals never engage in this inconsistent misbehavior, why should we?

Liberals have the continual din of the MSM, the government sucklings on their plantation and the spawning grounds in our government schools on their side! We only have our CONSISTENT commitment to the constitution, our faith in God Almighty and each other to rely upon!!!

You're right! It certainly hasn't worked with Arnold and it will not work with Rudy either. I admire the man, but I won't vote for him for President of the US, even if he's the only Repub left standing!!! It wouldn't be right!!! Genuine Conservatives must have STANDARDS!!!
