"If the DemocRATS lose CA, there's no way they can win a presidential election."

Exaclty!

Rudy can win in CA, the same way Arnold did, and that will be a major blow to the Dems for many years to come.

The Rudy bashers might want to consider that.

Why would it be a blow to Democrats when they'd get everything they want without Republican resistance, the way Arnold did?

I suggest you lay off the acid on Sundays; it's a work week coming you know.

Uh if you're going to cheerlead for a RINO, bringing up Arnold who recently became "post partisan" probably isn't the brightest idea.

Agreed. Rudy would crush Hillary in CA. Just like Arnold crushed Angelides (but not as big maybe).

That just proves that Rudy isn't really a Republican, though. Just like Arnold isn't. Rudy can do well here and in every blue state against Hillary because they'll be getting the Democrat they prefer, someone with cajones and backbone and who isn't a socialist for the most part.

But will Republicans let him pass through the primaries to get the nomination? McCain doesn't stand a prayer of getting the nom.. Rudy has a chance. He's more likeable, and doesn't seem like an old and total egotist. People know he can lead. No one thinks of McCain as a real leader.

It would also be a major blow to Conservatives for many years to come...though probably less so that Hillary.
