I was just asking why do some say that advocating gun registration tantamount to being a gun grabber.

Sorry, a lot of people consider Rudy a "gun grabber".

Gun registration runs counter to the 2nd Amendment. It's not the government's business who has guns. It only becomes their business when a crime is committed.

Rudy backtracked some on his stance, and Hillary is much worse anyway.

Why would the government NEED a list of all the guns an individual might own?.....if not so they can come to collect them some day?

This is a very big issue with me, but one I think we could influence Rudy on. Particularly since the advent of "Katrina" and the violence that ensued. As Republicans, we would have more influence over him than we ever would over Hillary. Rudy has already backed down to the extent that he says "it is a state issue", but even that is not far enough for me.

I have been sending his campaign emails and letters. I would urge other concerned Republicans to do the same.
