"In that case I would have to say, they better be careful who is sending them those "mailers". It is conceivable that Dims would be using that info. Would they rather vote for a Hillary, or one of her Dim clones?"

The Mailers will come from the NRA, GOA, their local gun club, The hunting/shooting magazines, word of mouth, etc.
The gun mfg.'s will likely send information to every gun shop in the nation. To think that Rudy's record on guns wont get out to gun owners, or that they will overlook it is naive.

No they don't want Hildabeast either. The choice you are promoting and offering to them gives them nobody to vote for in the POTUS race unless they vote third party.
08 may be the year that the NRA and GOA are forced to throw their support to the Libertarian party candidate.

Slice it any way you want, you are selling a product they will not buy. You can look forward to an equal reaction from Right to Life and various other groups that that have in past elections been solidly in the Republican camp. "

As a life long member of the NRA, and the wife of a retired military man, guns are real important to me (I carry a C/C .40 S&W Glock to the grocery store for heavens sake!). However, that said, it is not the only important issue for me. I think everyone here would agree a win for "President Hillary" would be a disaster---on sooooo many levels---and that is precisely what you are leaving the door open for. Most of us would LIKE someone more conservative, but name one, just one, that can beat Hillary. I can't think of even one, no matter how much money they could raise.

If I lived in New York, and especially if I were the Mayor, I would have grave concerns about some dumbass firing off 15 rounds from his "hand cannon" in the thin walled apartment next door. The law of "unintended consequences" could come rapidly into play---as in multiple dead bodies! As a "gun person", I'm certain you recognize the fact that the Bronx, or Brooklyn, is a lot different than the "wilds" of Michigan--or Oklahoma for that matter. There are parts of this country termed "fly over" country for a reason (population density). I am quite certain Rudy recognizes New York is much different than other parts of the country. I am also certain he understands just what sort of insurrection could result from an illegal "gun grab". You can take the outcry over the Miers nomination and multiply it by about a thousand times.

I read the "1st Freedom", every month, from cover to cover, but it is ALWAYS with the realization that the NRA is interested in one issue, only, and I, being a well rounded concerned citizen, am not a "one issue wonder". (By the way, what's up with those outrageous hunting license fees up there?)
