"It's late and his CONSERVATIVE record has been posted, repeatedly. You REFUSE to see/accept any of it. Pity that............because I am NOT going to waste my time on you.
But tell me, why are tax cuts, cutting the size of government, reducing the welfare rolls by 60%, vouchers, fully supporting the WOT, and fighting crime no longer considered, by some, to be CONSERVATVE?"
So why should I waste my time on you?
But since I'm so nice, the tax cuts were modest, he added 15,000 teacher jobs, but yes, he did clean up NYC, but that's not enough. I'm looking for a candidate MORE conservative than President Bush - not LESS.
And SOCIAL CONSERVATIVE issues are the most important conservative issues of all:

As Delivered
Thank you very much for inviting me to say a few words of welcome. This event shows that people of different political parties and different political thinking can unite in support of choice. In doing so, we are upholding a distinguished tradition that began in our city starting with the work of Margaret Sanger and the movement for reproductive freedom that began in the early decades of the 20th century.

Rudy even points to Margaret Sanger, as if that's something to be proud of.
How is adding teachers to teach children a BAD thing, especially when I surmise either the State of New York or the Federal Goverment was footing the bill for the increase(in an attempt to lower class size)?
Adding sorry sap bureaucrats that don't do not teach on the front lines is one thing, but usually, but 15,000 more teachers to actually teach kids and lower class sizes while paid by someone else, is not an awful thing in the grand scheme of things.
Perhaps Rudy should have said, "nah, let there be a 35:1 student:teacher ratio. We don't want the same funds that are also available to Peoira, Illinois or Schenectedy, New York." That'd be a really responsible thing for a mayor to do.
Would you rather have tax HIKES?
N.Y.C. happens to have a teacher shortage! Would you have liked it if Rudy had cut the employed teacher numbers by 2/3rds?
He's also for vouchers and charter schools.
And no, you aren't "nice"; you are a propaganda spreader.
