Yeah...riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, Rudy should drop out and support some shlub, who has been under investigation by the the DOJ,and who can't win the primary; let alone beat ANY Dem candidate, if he was the nominee?

The mind boggles!

A lot of these people's objective is to LOSE and hand victory to the Democrats, while bashing "RINO"s, but never criticizing Democrats.

Biting off your nose to spite your face makes no sense. If Hitlery wins, I gotta get out of this country for a bit.

I'd rather have a fiscal conservative "RINO" than a full blown socialist like Hitlery any day of the week.

Have YOU noticed that the people who are antu-Rudy are the leftovers who supported Keyes or Pat, in '98,'99, and 2000 and a bunch of newbies?

BINGO!

It's so simple and it's amazing that others don't get it.

That was a projected $2.0 billion pre-9/11 deficit.

I disagree with your premise. However, if you know anything about New York City politics, Rudy was a lame duck at the time and was deferring the next mayor to make the cuts to balance the budget.

During Rudy's whole tenure, they'd use a "projected budget defecit" as the impetus to get the loonies in the city council and the union bigwigs to CUT spending. OUTSOURCE government jobs to the private sector. Move people from WELFARE to work, etc. All good CONSERVATIVE values.

The first thing Hitler did was take away everyone's guns.

Rudy confiscated more than 100,000 guns. Can you just imagine what he would do as president?

It's late and his CONSERVATIVE record has been posted, repeatedly. You REFUSE to see/accept any of it. Pity that............because I am NOT going to waste my time on you.

But tell me, why are tax cuts, cutting the size of government, reducing the welfare rolls by 60%, vouchers, fully supporting the WOT, and fighting crime no longer considered, by some, to be CONSERVATVE?

A Republican carrying CA should be a dream come true for the GOP, it would mean Republicans can win, instead of have to concede blue states.

Which group would you put JimRob in? He supported Keyes in 2000 and according to his posts doesn't have any use for Rudy either.

I'll give you an example of why Rudy has a great chance to sweep almost all of the so-called blue states. A friend of mine here in Colorado who is a history professor at CU and a life-long democrat, but she loves Rudy. When I ask her why it always comes back to being tough on crime. BTW, she cannot stand hillary clinton.

"Rudy also left NYC with a hole in the ground where the WTC once stood. That 9-11 thing kinda threw a monkey wrench into his last budget, but let's just gloss over that."

Let's also not gloss over that it was not just 9/11.

For instance, he added 15,000 new teachers.

[Name me one, just one announced, even sort of announced GOP primary candidate who is going to beat Rudy. ]

I can't. I'm hoping it's Duncan Hunter, but I don't see any money rolling his way yet. My hope lies in how early it is in the race.

[And Newt is NOT going to run.]

He's already hinted that he will announce in Sept. of this year.

Like I've already said; a weak Republican will get my vote, over any democrat, but I'm not throwing that towel in just yet. Neither should you.

(((STOP GIULIANI 2008 PRIMARY PING!)))

Why don't you just call your ping list what it is:

"CONSERVATIVES FOR HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT" ping list.

Exactly! touché

Check out what the wonderful conservative warrior, R. Emmett Tyrrell has to say.

I hope and pray that Tyrrell is right, that all factions will come to their senses and unite in the end, around Rudy [or, I would add, whichever candidate gets the nod].

The 'logic' of those refusing to vote for Rudy:

Rudy is a too 'liberal' 'New Yorker' so they will place their de facto vote for missus clinton, a Stalinist New Yorker, albeit fake, (fake New Yorker, not fake Stalinist), who

It does the conservative cause no good to become petulant and self-destructive.

Do conservatives really want

I find it hard to believe that those people aren't able to discern the difference between Giuliani and clinton. Frankly, if true, it is frightening.

I am advocating for Giuliani not because of his ideology. I am advocating for him because I believe he possesses the qualities that this country desperately needs in these perilous times... and because I believe he, unlike all the others, will actually win.

The other night, I heard a man who is not perfect, but a man of rare intelligence, humility, warmth, competence, strength and leadership.

We will be fortunate, indeed, and our babies, born and unborn, living and not yet imagined, will be infinitely safer, if he is our next president.

"Do you think they'll vote for Hillary instead?"

The Rats will always vote for the Rats unless they crossover to vote on guns and abortion. Detroit always vote RAT. I don't think they can read anything but the letter D on a ballot.

The Republicans would just stay home in large numbers if those were the choices. They simply wont vote anti-gun.
