NARAL would be surprised to hear that Mayor Giuliani moved right on abortion.

From the FEC database: 04/24/1999 NEW YORK STATE NARAL INC WOMEN'S HEALTH POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE DONATIONS:

NARAL donated exclusively to Democrat candidates with one exception----Rudy Giuliani.

Giuliani accepted $1,000 from NARAL in 1999.

NARAL gave $250 to Hillary Rodham Clinton.

NARAL gave $1000---4 times as much-----to pro-abortion Giuliani.

Clearly, NARAL trusted Rudy's pro-abortion credentials, and Rudy's willingness to advance NARAL's radical abortion-on-demand agenda, even more than NARAL trusted Hillary.

Rudy was the honored guest speaker and made The Opening Remarks to the N.A.R.A.L. "Champions of Choice" Luncheon few years back.

In a CNN interview Giuliani indicated he does not support even a modest ban on the gruesome partial-birth abortion procedure saying, "No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing." Giuliani also indicated he would have upheld President Clinton's veto of the partial-birth abortion ban.

"Maybe" Rudy offered women "other options" to abortion, as you indicated, but Rudy told Phil Donahue he'd give his daughter the money for an abortion (to get rid of his own grandchild).

Oh....never mind...
I'm sorry, I usually don't post with little first-hand knowledge.
I used to listen to his show every Friday am. and he was so straight, so smart. I remember when he threw Arafat out of Carnegie Hall. He just didn't give a damn what anyone else said.
So, considering his sanity on so many issues, and seeing the way he turned NYC around. And he DID. It just was not the same city after.. it's so hard to believe that he doesn't agree on abortion.
Maybe it's my wishful thinking, but even recently, on the Hannity interview, he did support the 'law of the land', but always leaves room to think that if he could change that law of the land he would.
Didn't he say clearly that he could be counted on to name right wing judges, and he clearly referenced Roe v. Wade and that we could probably count on it being somewhat overturned and sent back to the States?
Check out that video, he really was clear...(or maybe it's just wishful thinking.)
