Think Giuliani's postion on guns is bad?...Imagine what Hillary's position would be. That should resolve any Rudy Dyspepsia you may have.

Neither of their positions is good. Both need to be kept as far away from the white house as possible.

Before the nomination is won it is premature to say it's Hillary's version of gun control or Rudy's. Lots of time to shut down Rudy and have a pro-gun candidate.

This is a pretty hairy issue we're messing with here. IF the next president gets two terms and is philosophically dim with regard to the Second Amendment, might it be setting the stage for internal armed warefare? Because ultimately where this is going is that someday, enough of them see no reason to avoid an America where somebody From the Government can confiscate your firearms.

Is it a lot to trust that in the wrong political *climate,* Rudy wouldn't do some damage? Or could that not happen in two terms?

For what it's worth, I don't think Hillary will be the nominee, or if she is, she'll crash and burn either way so badly that it will ultimately benefit the Republicans. Maybe that makes all the more argument that in THIS ALL IMPORTANT PRIMARY the GOP should take a bigger "risk," not a smaller one. I think there'd be a lot of people voting against Hillary if she got the nomination. GOP ought to take that filly and run by putting in a gutsy candidate. Giuliani is a "safe" candidate, and that could turn out to be the dumbest GOP stragegy yet.

Then again, maybe they don't call us the "stupid party" for nothing. Let's fix it in the PRIMARIES!
