Because nobody can possibly be pure enough for us unless we don't really know that much about them.
And nobody pure enough would be stupid enough to run for President and all that entails.
Give me a break on the "pure enough" stuff. We are being offered the same liberal/"moderates" that Bush showcased in his last convention. This is a setup rather than a contest for someone who can actually represent the voters.
