Caught Shep Smith excusing Russert's comments about the Libby indictment making the NBC newsroom feel like Christmas Eve.

Shep tried to say ALL newsrooms are so happy about that kind of story.

Perhaps Shep is hoping for a job at NBC......and if so....GOOD RIDDANCE.

Wallace was saying the same thing to Steve Doocey - that he was also ecstatic with that news. Brit Hume's worst blunder is hiring Wallace to replace Tony Snow.

I listened to DNC on Sirius much of the week while traveling and after five or ten minutes of his spin had to turn it off--he's all L/W and probably has lunch with Chris Wallace eating brazed tofu and diet lettuce.
