Got to stop. I'll pass the baton to you to carry on. It's almost noon and I have some things that have to be done.
I bet those GOP advisers said to take his Cigarettes away and he will be meaner than a Junkyard Dog. That is the best way to handle the DC DBM criminals.
I am not sure..but he sure sounded like it today..
LMAO!!
It is amazing how fast the dems and MSM can re-write history, isn't it???
Yesterday I saw an example how even ONE PARTY can disagree about "history".
Osama Obama was in Springfield, Illinois, to give his announcement speech...and did so in Lincoln's hometown...so he could "use" Lincoln and history to compare himself and today's world to.
However, at the exact same time, Tavis Smiley was having a day long conference called "Life in Black America" or something.
When the audience and panel were told that Obama had called Tavis the night before, to send his regrets about not being able to attend, "even though we had this date planned for a year" (Tavis Smiley)...
Well....a lot of the audience jeered...Cornel West was very outspoken in his dislike of what Obama did...but did say he isn't going to NOT vote for Obama.
On the same stage, was a man that supposedly has written about black history...and HE gave what he called the "true account" of Abraham Lincoln...and it was not at all flattering or even close to what Obama said.
In fact, he said that Lincoln not only did not want to free the slaves, he wanted them all shipped out of the country.
SOOOOOOO..on the subject of "war history"....I think it has become a "subjective" topic, rather than a "factual" one in these United States.
Are you serious?
I was going to make a point about Winston Churchill being willing to negotiate with the Germans even at that late date, by citing the quote from him:
To jaw-jaw is always better than to war-war.
Then I found out he apparently said it on June 26, 1954 in a totally different context. The point is still valid, however, in that Churchill's willingness to negotiate with an enemy always came from a very strong and realistic public position about who and what his negotiating "partner" was. None of this "my good friend" crap. Churchill had established firmly that he was an opponent of Herr Hitler and everything he stood for in the run up to the war but that he would negotiate with almost anyone. What he wasn't planning to do was surrender to them. That is not the case for Ketchup boy or John Murtha or Nazi Pelosi.
Jon F'n Carry has made it clear throughout his public career that he considers the United States to be the main enemy and that anyone who hates and wishes to destroy us is his friend. Who, precisely, is he proposing to negotiate on behalf of?
I've been working on the garage door.
Making sure it's in good shape.
:)
I don't know if I understand what happened any better now or before I read the transcript, its confusing for me.
Actually...considering how many Senators are running for POTUS..and Hillary being one of the candidates...
That not only we...but the voters discuss what happened re: Kosovo..and all military and defense "doings" that happened under their watch in Congress...during Clinton's two terms.
The should be held accountable about what/why/when they acted like they did not only re: this Iraq war...but previous actions taken or not taken.
Dang...thank you for telling us about your cousin's son. It sure explains why the violence went UP instead of down..
Even though the dems are blaming on our "occupation" of Iraq...which is odd, since we turned over sovereignty to them a long time ago.
Spiffy Firefox Extension allowing HTML WYSIWYG pop up editing of posts. (Enjoy Xinha Here)
It works with both Windows and Mac. When I do more complex or larger volume stuff, like the awards or the preview thread, I use MS FrontPage.
The links came from one search on FR. I remembered having seen these threads and had read much of most of them. This place is the best resource for pulling together these type of posts. It's why I'm here.
I just saw some footage of Obama being a smart aleck re: John Howard.
He has a smart mouth, that one.
