They say that rapid eye movements, blinking excessively, licking lips or ways of stroking hair or ears are classic symptoms of somebody trying to conceal something.Like maybe a fear of flying? How many planes will be diverted due to false alarms?
Enough so that this silliness will likely never get a foothold in the industry to begin with.
Might as well put the passengers in straight-jackets and a five point harness with leg restraints.
The insultingly tiny and uncomfortable seats almost accomplish that already.
Or solve the problem back at the nest.
Since there doesn't seem to be much interest in the obvious and most effective solution, which is aggressive profiling, this makes me far more inclined to explore the grand beauty of our great Nation via our magnificent interstate highway system the next time I need to travel. If I don't HAVE to fly, why would I possibly be interested in subjecting myself to such demeaning brutality and idiocy that has come to define and personify the modern airline industry?
