Hopefully, he will win anyway, but any threat to France's security would propel him into the Elysee Palace.

I would guess they will try to kill Sarkozy. He is the only real threat to them.

Similarly, I think the Xlintons have already struck a deal with the terrorists to refrain from attacking us until after the '08 election. Got to keep the sheep asleep so Hildabeest can be prez. Once elected, they can attack us so Hilly can put the country under martial law. For our own good, of course.
