A full transcript of the Ramos-Compean trial has not yet been prepared or released by the U.S. District Court in El Paso.

Per another recent thread, that full transcript will never be released because much of it (especially the testimony of the 2 accused border agents) is under permanent seal.

I just heard the CSPAN interview with a reporter on this case. He doid mention that the appeals lawyers were perturbed that the transcripts were taking an inordinate amount of time to arrive.

I don't think they can deny the appeals process by permanently sealing the transcript. That's a denial of due process.

Having said that, I'll bet the government is banking on these guys getting killed in prison first.

but there appears to be no evidence investigators made any attempt to identify him.

Just heard on c-span this morning that the drug smugglers illegal sister was married to another so-called boarder guard in Phoenix. He was the one who started the whole investigation, wounder if he was mad about a pay off.

“I can't figure out why so many high-ranking officials in our government are assisting this known doper and are actively trying to throw members of Congress off the trail by continuing to lie and misrepresent the facts."

You can't figure this out, Mr. Ramirez? It’s obvious to me. Many high-ranking officials in our government are working for the Mexican drug cartels.

Bush pardoned FIVE DRUG DEALERS Christmas but he can't pardon two BP agents?

Talk about misplaced priorities...

Gregoryful posted the reference to 'Compromised' by Terry Reed the other day. Interesting theory to say the least, and it does seem to explain a lot.

The government cover-up continues, while two innocent men were convicted of simply doing their jobs.

The President has the power to pardon because of the possibility of injustice. If this isn't a case that is deserving, then there is no such thing. Yet the administration is strangely quiet (other than saying that his injuries were not as serious as initially reported).

Sutton's decision to issue Aldrete-Davila a multiple use border pass.

So this POS is still able to criss cross the border at will? Our system of justice needs an overhaul.

That doesn't make sense to me. I believe the trial transcript will have to be released (but may include some redacted items). However, there are many things in the court record leading up to trial (documents, transcripts of proceedings, various motions and orders, etc.) that have been sealed and will not be released.

Is there information to the contrary?

Just heard on c-span this morning that the drug smugglers illegal sister was married to another so-called boarder guard in Phoenix.

Can you clarify? I wonder if CSPAN has replays. Who said that and when did the segment air?

The BP Agent in Phoenix must have been Rene Sanchez. It was previously reported that his mother was friendly with the mother of the smuggler, and in fact R.Sanchez had grown up with the smuggler and was an old childhood friend. But none of that disclosed a marriage and a sister.
