If DHS lied about these men, as Skinner told a Congressional committee the other day, then I want the investigation taken out of DHS's hands and a special prosecutor appointed. Period.
The fact that the perp got immunity and the BP agents got jail stinks to me. I want a thorough investigation, not an in-house crooked DHS investigation.
Especially if this Sanchez guy is a life-long buddy of the perp as I read today here on FR.
This whole thing stinks to high heaven.

How can President Bush not pardon these men? For one they were doing their job. Secondly, throughout their interviews during the past year they have not changed their story at all. They thought they saw a weapon and they are trained to use their instincts when pursuing an ILLEGAL immigrant. I am not sure if anyone has talked on freerepublic about this yet but... the guy that they shot at (that was let go ) was found crossing the border AGAIN a few months later! How many chances do we give ILLEGAL immigrants before we lock them up? We should send them to other countries any country but their own. The Facts are there and we all know that once they get lead back to Mexico they just try it again the next day!

1rudeboy, did some interesting research, but don't think for a minute that this whole case from the start, doesn't have lot of things going on behind the curtain (not even the great Oz could have imagined all that has happened to this point).

It does not take much to connect the dots. The DHS will get away with lying (perjury). They would not have lied if there was no agenda other than justice. But I think we know better. And nothing but silence from the White House and administration. It really stinks.

Bah! He'll never pardon them. He's been so pro-illegal since the day he swore to protect and defend this country that it's enough to make me puke.
He might pi$$ off mexico who he thinks is more important than the citizens of this country.
I REALLY wish I knew what his problem is ;(

Some Freepers have legitimate concerns about this case. You're not helping them.

Oh Jeez. I can now see why you said in the other thread that you'd be "buried" by this thread. I'll pick this thing up tomorrow, but until then, I suggest you don your kevlar undies, as this article is about to get picked apart.

"Have you read the transcript?"
Have you? Highly unlikely, since it's not been released.
