Any machine would have to process enormous volumes of air, as CO2 is only about 400 ppm. This means a 100% efficient process would have to process 2500 kilograms of air to remove 1 kilogram of CO2.
Do you have an estimate of the extraction/conversion rate of a good sized say Maple or Oak tree?
