Actually, the scientific study has yet to be released. The report issued that sent Ms. Goodman to the hardware store is the UN Bureaucrat's spin on a study that will be released in May. See, this way, the man-made Global Warming acolytes have more than three months to influence public lawmaking and lawmakers before anyone has a chance to see if the science behind the actual study is valid. If any other scientific research were presented this way, it would be rejected out of hand and rightly so.

The warmists* started using "denier" without being specific about the connection to Holocaust denial -- they just knew that everyone would make that connection. Meanwhile, if anyone objected, they could simply "deny" that they were drawing a shameless equivalence with Holocaust denial. She completely ruined the effect by spelling it out.

* You might think that "warmist" is meant to convey the point that the global warming fanatics tend toward fascism -- much like "Islamists" are totalitarian Muslims. You can think that; but I wouldn't want to spell it out for you.
