McCain-Feingold was overwhelmingly passed with Democratic votes, but the GOP bears the blame for the other debacles. I promise you, without Bush support for KENNEDY's No Child Left Alone, it would have gone nowhere. The same is true for the rest of your assertions. The GOP went along with Bush more often than not, if only to avoid embarassing him.

I agree with you on that. When I said that 'the GOP' was to blame, that of course included its leader.
