Nicely put... I'm beginning to suspicion that the rush to anoint Rudy has its basis in issues that the "He's electable!" faction might not want to discuss at this point. Abortion is a dangerous intersection that the GOP has yet to negotiate. And we may be witnessing the approach of an ominous crossroads in this party's history. To be sure, guns and borders are also in play; but the "damn the torpedoes" aspect of the Giuliani express is being driven by something with a white hot emotional engine. I watch, and I wonder.
