It isn't "cross dressing" when one is in a play or skit and far more people, in the REAL WORLD, understand that, than you suppose. Heck, even high school football players in OK. dress up like women, to raise money.

Guys in the military, in fraternities, football teams, fraternal organizations, etc, dress up like that for fun. It doesn't make them transvestites...Maybe they have a sense of humor, can laugh at themselves. Not a bad approach.
