I wish I could be a fly on the wall in Steny Hoyer's Office. She is almost single handedly making the Rats look really bad. I would not be surprised if there are scared Rats looking to 2008, and realizing that they could be totally out in the cold again if they do not Plan a takeover of Pelosi's Power. Hoyer would be the one that could turn things around, even though he is very partisan, he is not tone deaf and he does not have delusions of grandeur, and does not have that huge Superiority Complex like Pelosi. When you think she cannot possibly get more outrageous she one ups herself. The Rats must be freaking out behind the scenes. I do not think this behavior is what they expected.

Steny Hoyer used to be my Rep. He's known to be pretty decent (for a Democrat anyway). He must be clutching his head in pain.
