I wear a Tag Haur; a Rolex won't hold up to what I do everyday. The Rolex spent more time in the shop than on my wrist..I like Siekos but they too are ruined in about two months. The Tag has been working for four years now.

It sickens me the women that are married or have boyfriends that come on strong to me....I have lost a lot of respect for the average American woman. Years ago I would have been a real man-whore. Now that I am a widower and have a 9 year old daughter I am a total conservative.

I have a stainless & gold Rolex that is over thirty years old and has only been in the shop only for cleaning, new face every once in awhile and the links tightened. It has been run over and buried by a tractor, dunked in many kinds of chemicals(one reason I bought it) and suffered many other abuses. It is semi-retired now.

I bought gold Sieko last year year on a cruise for a great price, women spot it as being a real gold watch( they ask is that a Rolex) and not gold toned, plated or anything less than gold. Men as rule don't notice. I was planing on buying a Tag Heuer, when I saw the Sieko. With so many fake Rolexs around, plus so copies of the stainless and gold model, no one plays any attention to it.

I had a gold Rolex which as a woman magnet is better than a Porsche. Hence my comment.

I share your pain, it seems that all the good ones are married or committed. I have found cruises are the best place to meet nice women, unfortunately they have all lived in places far from West Texas(which is easy).

I'm not talking of a hurried night
A frantic tumble then a shy goodbye
Creeping home before it gets too light
