It is not possible to understand what "women" want.

It is simple. They want security. Their idea of security, which does not always conform to reality or logic.

Simple. They want to mold someone they can control. Very true, and in terms of everything... ego, money, kids, and all manner of decisions.
To: ExpatGator
No. They are all different and individual. There is no such thing as "women".
To: Defiant
They want to mold someone they can control. Thats the job description of Jewish women and black women.
Little do those two groups of women realize how much they have in common.

A man with all that going for him is never going to want for female companionship. That takes away the coercive element from the relationship; the woman can't strongarm the man into a dependency. Women need to be NEEDED. Strong, successful men don't need them.
But some poor schlub that's just looking for a loving mate? HE'S a prime target for a bloodsucker. His faithfulness is his weakness.

I suspect this study is bunk. One way or another, they are missing something.

They're reading them like personal ads.
What does claiming a high income on a personal ad say about the man? (That he's full of...)
Income/expensive cars/clothes etc should never be mentioned to a prospective mate. If she is the type the really cares she will figure it out on her own. If you talk about it you just come off as an ass.

Yes. They should have looked at men who give subtle but clear indications of having money. Their findings would probably be different -- especially in the U.S.

Women need to be NEEDED. That's an immaturity that she needs to transcend if she wants to find happiness. Sadly, too few manage it.
