Thank you so much for the ping to this thread. I am very happy to see Duncan Hunter, who is factually the most conservative candidate in the Republican Primary so active a topic of conversation here at Free Republic.

To all who are interested in the comparison, here are the facts - scroll to the bottom of the page of each link for a simple graph and easily interpreted visual of where each candidate falls on the Right-Left spectrum:

Duncan Hunter comes in as The Most Conservative Candidate.
(The only person I know who scores even more far-Right is myself, and I'm not running!)

Tom Tancredo scores only slightly less Conservative-Right

Newt Gingrich scores as a complete MODERATE with only SLIGHT Conservative leanings

John McCain scores EXACTLY THE SAME as Newt.
(hint, hint)

Rudy Giuliani is the most MODERATE of all, with Libertarian leanings

FOR COMPARISON WITH THE STATED GOALS OF FREE REPUBLIC:
Ronald Reagan scores exactly where both Hunter and Tancredo fall on the grid!

(This ought to be a no-brainer, people.)
