I don't know. I have issues with Reagan too. He was kind of a slightly conservative version of Bush, supporting amnesty for illegal aliens among other things.

All I'm saying is that I'm more hesistant to vote for a lifelong conservative than for someone whose upbringing, belief system, or whatever led them to once support liberal idiocy.
