I notied that each of the last mornings (I have my alarm clock set to radio) the 'newsbreak' ABC News was always 20 seconds long, and for the past 4 days was just an 'update' on how many US Soldiers died or what terrorists attacks took place.

I don't think its a coincidence it started the the day the ramp up to the offensive (5th or so) and just happen to be ready for the morning news cycles.

They are freedom fighters, defending their homeland against imperialist invaders. I know this because the DNC told me. And we're losing every battle we fight. My favorite quote from the article. BTW, I see General Petraeus as like a latter day General Matt Ridgway. When Ridgway took command of the 8th Army in Korea in December 1950, the troops were in a state of low morale due to the Chinese mass attack across the Yalu weeks earlier. Almost IMMEDIATELY General Ridgway boosted the troop's morale and stopped the Chinese advance.
