I gotta say, he challenged the race whackos like Sharpton with aplomb, I loved the way he handled them.

And he is very charismatic. I remember once we were at Times Square waiting for the ball to drop and he walked by us, and the whole audience burst out into applause. You never saw that with Dinkins.

I was born and raised in NYCity. In the heart of Brooklyn. Never went in for that celebrity stuff. Denouncing Sharpton is no big deal. It doesn't make Rudy presidential material.

What I posted in #140 destroys Rudy`s credibility as a fiscal conservative. Rudy may have acted fiscally responsible by NYCity standards. Outside of the ultra liberal Big Apple, and other major liberal enclaves around the country, I doubt Rudy is viewed as a hero of any kind. Especially when his lifelong support for liberal causes is revealed. As more light is shined on Rudy record, and he's exposed for his liberalism, conservatives will not like what they see.
