Just for the record, I don't believe the author ever uses the word "alien". He does use the word "immigrant" once.
The distinction between a "legal" and an "illegal" immigrant is a valid one.
POLITICAL CORRECTNESS:

Ummmm....a simple lesson in language should suffice.
"legal"...from the Latin "legalis"....meaning "conforming to or permitted by law or established rules".
"il-"....from Anglo-French/Latin......prefix meaning "not".
"Il-legal"....."not conforming to or permitted by law or established rules".
Anything else is hijacking of the english language.
I suspect that Dr. Quetzalcoatl was not his birth name.

The word "undocumented" is a word whose entire intention is to legitimize the illegitimate. You legitimize a person in order to do the country some evil. To do this nation evil is behind the word "undocumented."
Perhaps the good Dr. should look up the word illegal in an english dictionary.

Illegal alien is not as accurate as INSURGENT..
It isn't about "dehumanization", it is about a "moral judgment" of those who "do not follow society's laws". Break the law and you have committed an illegal act.
Now, you can question the appropriateness of a law, but encouraging a nation of immigrants to become scofflaws who have total disregard for "the law" is going to lead to a breakdown of society. And this has always been the anarchists' goal.

The actual term is "Illegal Alien".

2. a foreigner.
5. residing under a government or in a country other than that of one's birth without having or obtaining the status of citizenship there.
