Just for the record, I don't believe the author ever uses the word "alien". He does use the word "immigrant" once.

The distinction between a "legal" and an "illegal" immigrant is a valid one.

Ummmm....a simple lesson in language should suffice.

"legal"...from the Latin "legalis"....meaning "conforming to or permitted by law or established rules".

"il-"....from Anglo-French/Latin......prefix meaning "not".

"Il-legal"....."not conforming to or permitted by law or established rules".

Anything else is hijacking of the english language.

The word "undocumented" is a word whose entire intention is to legitimize the illegitimate. You legitimize a person in order to do the country some evil. To do this nation evil is behind the word "undocumented."

In typical leftie NewSpeak fashion, this moron never addresses the issue of whether or not 'illegal' is the right word. The truth, or in this case, accuracy, is irrelevant. Interestingly, I've never heard them criticize the random and incessant use of the label 'homophobic', which ignores the fact that one needn't necessarily fear something to find it objectionable. But being rational has never been the left's strong point.

It isn't about "dehumanization", it is about a "moral judgment" of those who "do not follow society's laws". Break the law and you have committed an illegal act.

Now, you can question the appropriateness of a law, but encouraging a nation of immigrants to become scofflaws who have total disregard for "the law" is going to lead to a breakdown of society. And this has always been the anarchists' goal.

Yeah, and it's even worse than I first thought. I forgot that he's "junior", so we're supposed to believe that his grandparents were the ones to first cook up that name, and that his parents just passed it along.

That's OK, because first I have to dehumanize him before I ridicule him.

1. a resident born in or belonging to another country who has not acquired citizenship by naturalization (distinguished from citizen).
2. a foreigner.
5. residing under a government or in a country other than that of one's birth without having or obtaining the status of citizenship there.
