ERA (Equal Rights Amendment) Defeated! Arkansas Votes NO on ERA by a narrow margin!

The committee meeting was 3 hours. I also had to take care of some things during the meeting so I won't post the whole thing. The room was too small so I didn't have the best angle. I haven't had time to look over the videos because of other events. I will tape HB1024 in the Senate Committee tommorrow at 10am.

The National Right to Life organization, which lobbied against the ERA resolution, has posted a release explaining the significance of the defeat of the resolution in committee -- and the decision of twenty cosponsors to remove their names -- to the national "three-state" campaign to revive the ERA.
