I'm still very curious as to why the FBI agent, Eckenrode, didn't recuse himself from interviewing Timmy since he had recently met him when he visited the MTP set, and seemed a little starry-eyed according to the testimony I read on one of the blogs today.

Small world, isn't it...

Add this to the documents that the CIA "forgot" to hand over and it's a bigger fat zero than we thought.

Not that you'd know that from the reports; even the panel on Brit's show thought today was a win for the prosecution.

I bet they didn't READ the transcripts.

Do you happen to have a link to that blog? I am curious about Eckenrode too. I can't figure out what he was doing at Meet the Press. And it seems he also took some notes during a Libby interview that differed from Bond who testified earlier. It figures they would be fawning over him here with statements like:

Isikoff and Corn call Jack a "dogged investigator who reminded some of the Tommy Lee Jones character in The Fugitive.

Jack Eckenrode believed that both Rove and Libby were being dishonest. He pushed the issue. Attorney General John Ashcroft was forced to recuse himself...

It is a small world:

The jury includes a retired Washington Post reporter who once worked for Post editor Bob Woodward and was a neighbor of NBC reporter Tim Russert, both of whom are to be witnesses in the case.
