What, pray tell, does hiring "lots" of agents have to do with a directive not to prosecute for drug running under 500 pounds? You or I try running 500 pounds and see how long we'd go away?
Hiring agents is one thing, pissant. But then, they require extensive training. There is a special school for BP agents; the training is at least one year. I know you want to believe all is well but it is not.

You mentioned ICE a ways back. There was a report here during the past week that local law enforcement -- perhaps Phoenix area --- stopped vans, trucks, etcetera packed with 15-30 illegals each. Of course, the jumped out, ran, scattered but LE picked up many of them and detained them.
Despite repeated calls to ICE for agents to come and bust the illegals, they were told there was not enough personnel to send, and eventually they had to release the invaders.
