Don't forget that one of Bill Clinton's acts on his first day as President was to fire all the U.S. District Attorneys in the country. It was unprecedented, but apparently legal. "Stroke of the pen, law of the land," as one Clinton Administration official put it. But then again, some of the diehard defenders of Johnny Nifong..uh..Fitzgerald..uh..Earle..uh..Sutton tend to ignore little details like that.
